University of Wyoming junior running back Xazavian Valladay was named to the Maxwell Award watch list for the second consecutive year.

The Maxwell Award has been presented to the college player of the year since 1937.

Valladay – a 6-foot-0, 190-pounder – has been a first team All-Mountain West selection the past two season. He led the league in rushing average in both 2019 (105.4 yards per game) and 2020 (110.0 ypg).

His 131.0 all-purpose yards per game ranked 27th nationally.
