CHEYENNE – After serving Laramie County for more than three decades, Jeff Ketcham will be leaving his role as Laramie County Fair manager at the end of March.

Prior to his eight years as fair manager, Ketcham served as a Laramie County commissioner for 28 years, where he first saw the potential at the Archer Complex, where a University of Wyoming research station used to be.

The Event Center at Archer, which he helped envision and bring to fruition, held its first Laramie County Fair last summer. According to a news release, Ketcham is “going out on top.”

“Jeff Ketcham has been a leader in the Laramie County community for a very long time,” Archer Events Director Dan Ange said in a news release. “His extensive hard work and influence on the community is very obvious, especially when it relates to the new Event Center at Archer and to the Laramie County Fair.”
